Rockwool Insulation Board

Semi-rigid mineral wool made from molten rock spun into fibres (EN 13162, MW). Excellent thermal, acoustic and fire protection, with a production process that avoids fossil fuels.

Key Features

  • Non-combustible (Euroclass A1), melting temperature above 1000 °C
  • Water-repellent and non-hygroscopic; vibration resistant
  • Chemically inert, odourless, recyclable and eco-friendly
  • Lightweight and easy to cut and install
  • Weighted sound absorption αw = 1 — Class A (EN ISO 11654); NRC = 1 (ASTM C423)

Applications

  • Masonry cavity walls
  • Ventilated facades
  • Twin-skin metal walls
  • Dry-construction walls
  • Roof frames & attics
  • Timber floors & suspended ceilings
  • Insulating panels and doors
